Whether it's a weekend excursion, a trip to an event, a holiday or business trip, a visit to a friend's house - there are many occasions when a car can give you the flexibility you need. But you don't necessarily have to own your own car; renting instead of buying is often a sensible alternative if you only need a car occasionally. With our offer, this alternative is now also available to travellers who want to take a person in a wheelchair with them.
RENTING AN ACCESSIBLE VEHICLE
The most important key points of the vehicle rental:
- Short or long-term rental possible
- No self-driving vehicle (driver must not be impaired)
- International travel possible (entire EU incl. HR, PL, SI, SK, CZ, HU, BiH, SRB)
- Vehicle model: VW Caddy
- Advance booking: min. 2 hours
- Minimum booking: 1 day (= 24 hours)
- Pick-up locations: Vienna Simmering, Vienna Airport or Vienna Central Station.
- Payment: credit card of renter
- Rental day: 24 hours from vehicle pick-up
- Unlimited mileage
- Age of driver 25 years + min. 3 years driving licence
- Please have your driving licence ready when collecting the vehicle!
- Available in Vienna Simmering, Vienna Central Station and Vienna Airport, as well as in Graz, Linz and Salzburg on request (https://www.hertz.at/rentacar/location).
